Throughout the years we have been a part of wedding celebrations in Mexico, Chicago, and the Bay Area, but nothing is as fun as shooting a wedding down the street from your house. Los Angeles is a beautiful city that presents its own challenges, mainly traffic. It doesn't matter what day of the week it is inevitably a freeway somewhere will be a parking lot. So getting to shoot a few blocks from your house is definitely a treat. When we first met Maria and Alex they told us of their plan to get married at
St. Helen in South Gate we were happy. Not only is it a beautiful Catholic Church with awesome architecture but it was only a couple of blocks from our house. The wedding day came and it was a joyous time with Maria and Alex surrounded by their loved ones. The day was full of joy and full of happiness, but more importantly on this day two lives were joined in the eyes of God in to one.
