Love was in the air in Santa Monica! 

Meet Joseph and Ginette, a couple who love Santa Monica! We recently had the privilege to work with Joseph and Ginette for their Engagement portraits. When I met Joseph and Ginette for their session they told me they wanted fun, and candid images. They live on the west side and love spending time near 3rd street and the ocean so we decided to do an engagement portrait shoot that fits their style. We started with a stroll through the Venice canals and worked our way over to Santa Monica. Yes there are canals in Venice California. It was a fun filled day with a great couple that ended near the Third street promenade.

Eco Friendly | Take A Look How We Save The Planet | One Wedding At A Time

Are you planning an Eco-Friendly Wedding?

When I was in collage I use  to love volunteering for eco-friendly organizations. I even created an after school club in one of our local elementary schools. Till this day my students still remember “Earth Club!” They stop me on the street and tell me, “Hi! Remember me!! I was in Earth Club!”  It’s amazing how time fly's by so quickly, these little ones are now in college volunteering and saving the planet!

Long beach PUG Meeting

It is important for artists to always challenge themselves to continue to learn and grow.  As photographers not only do we have to continue to learn and grow but we constantly have to keep up with technology.  Unlike other art forms photography and technology go hand in hand.  In order to be able to provide our clients the best quality of service and imagery we take every opportunity available to learn and practice. 
We are privileged to be part of an amazing community of photographers that meet on a monthly basis.  We meet to encourage each other and to learn from each other.  We are part of a community of artists, business owners, and friends who share the passion of capturing life and making it stand still for an eternity.  We are part of the Long Beach Pictage User’s Group (PUG for short).  As part of our PUG meetings we have gotten together several times to practice our craft.  We don’t practice as individuals but practice as a group so that we can learn and experiment together.  Our last group meeting was towards the end of October and our Group Leader Christine Smith arranged several models for us to work with.  We strive to pour every ounce of us into our work whether it be practice or with one of our awesome clients because in the end our technical ability is just as important as our creative eye.

Dreams & Wishes | What's Your dream?

"Somewhere over the rainbow. . ."

Its the season to wish and dream. When I was young, I use to dream and wish I was Dorthy. There was an old man in a near by neighborhood that use to make toys. The kids use to peek through the fence and think he was Santa Claus. I wanted to to have Dorthy' shoes so much, I wrote a letter and asked him if he knew how to make Ruby Red Slippers. I slipped the letter through the fence hoping he would read it.

A year later he passed away and my wish to have Ruby slippers always stayed with me. Just recently we did a family portrait session. I fell in love with this photo! It brought back beautiful dreams and memories of my childhood.
